Ms. Senobia Rogers


Senobia M. Rogers was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and has five sisters and three brothers. While attending Alcorn State University, she received her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature in 2004 and her Master’s degree in Counseling/Mental Health in 2006. Due to her love of dance, in both undergrad and graduate school, she was a member of the World Renowned Golden Girls Dance Team. Shortly after graduate school, she proudly became the dance coach/coordinator of the ASU Golden Girls.


Ms. Rogers is a proud member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Senobia was first employed at Alcorn State University as the Pre-Award Manager in Sponsored Programs. 

For the past three years, Ms. Rogers has enjoyed the journey of being an adjunct professor of honors and pre-professional as seeing her students thrive in their respective fields gives her great joy. Currently, she serves as the Associate Coordinator of Title III Programs.


In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and experiencing different cultures as well as the magnificent arts. Each day, she continues to learn, grow, and smile with a grateful heart.
