

Antonio Barrino is a native of Holly Springs, Mississippi. He holds a Bachelors of Art in Music Performance from Grambling State University (2014). Barrino went on to attain his Masters in Music Education from Alabama State University (2018). During that time, Barrino served as a Graduate Assistant and Arranger, and later Assistant Director for the Alabama State University Marching Band. Barrino helped with the facilitation of several of the band’s endeavors, including the 2017 and 2018 Honda Battle of the Bands Showcase and the 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA. He has taught public school music for 11 years, and recently served as Graduate Assistant instructor at the University of Memphis. Barrino is in the final stages of his studies at the University of Memphis where he is working on his PhD in Music Education. Barrino holds several memberships including NAfME, International Trombone Association, College Band Directors National Association, Concert Band Association, Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band.
